Foreign women, with or without a permit of stay, have the right to access the Ambulatory Care Service & Family Planning Clinic (called "Consultorio") closest to where you live.

You can take an appointment (in person or by phone) and go to the Ambulatory Care Service. The obstetrician and gynecoogist on duty at the Ambulatory Care Service will assist you during your pregnancy and will provide you with information on: what to do in the months preceding birth, what body signals pay attention to, what exams are needed and when, what are pregnancy rights in the workplace, how important is to choose a pediatrician after giving birth.
